California Privacy Rights
Last updated: October 18, 2026
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the rights below. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
What are your rights?
- To know what personal information we have about you and how we use it.
- To delete personal information we hold about you, with limited exceptions.
- To correct inaccurate personal information.
- To opt out of sale or sharing. We don't sell personal information. If you accept advertising cookies, the advertising tools on the site may count as “sharing” under California law; you can turn them off at any time.
- To limit the use of sensitive information. We use what you give us only to run the service.
- Not to be treated differently for using any of these rights.
How do you opt out?
Choose “Cookie Preferences” at the bottom of any page and turn off advertising and analytics cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser as an opt-out of sale and sharing.
How do you make a request?
Email privacy@expertcarenearme.com with the email address or phone number you used on the site. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
What do we collect?
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address.
- Professional information for providers: details from the NPPES registry and what you add to your profile.
- Internet activity: pages viewed, how you arrived, and phone links tapped.
- Appointment request details: the visit type you chose and your preferred times.
